Video Showing a weeks progression. Working on rhythm and flow; eliminating any delay between turns. Promoting symmetry of equal edge angles, of the outside and inside skis. Long and shorter turn shapes, with perpetual motion. On red and black pistes in the Chamonix Valley. All clients will receive a video to aid their progression.
Joseph McCaffrey 15/01 2022 "I am a 58 year old intermediate skier. I had never taken a lesson. I contacted Olly about a lesson to get accustomed to accessing off-piste areas. Olly picked me up at the hotel and transported us to Grand Montets. We talked and he quickly assessed what the lesson plan would be.. We started on piste and immediately Olly zeroed in on my weak points giving me the tools I needed to practice. We spent some time reinforcing the techniques to correct what I was doing wrong. all of these techniques and drills we practiced translate to confidence both on and then off-piste. We spent some time on the side piste where those things I learned and practiced were put to the test. At the end of the lesson I felt much more confident! The lesson was the first day of a 4 day trip with a crew that were all stronger skiers than I. The next day the crew went to Balme and we spent some time in the woods. Even though I was slow and methodical I was able to keep up and enjoyed this new discipline I call " adventure Skiing" With the videos and notes from Olly I will be able to work on these techniques in the future.
